March 9th quiet day

Well, today has been a mixed bag of goodies. Bill and I ventured off by ourselves this morning and found the hospital with excellent directions from Al. Had the ol' blood' snatched and it was perfect again. This is awesome! It is an experience with the medical system in the states. Very impressive actually. Found the Olive Garden for lunch. Our favorite! We went to the matinee and saw The Reader. What a moving movie. Really enjoyed it. Went to Chili's for din din . Always a pleasure! Of course finished off the eve with the series premier of Dancing with the Stars. Another good season I'm sure.
Tomorrow is a quiet day with hopefully 'bronzing'. It has been too cold and windy for poor Bill to get any sunning in. Tomorrow will undoubtedly be better.

Day 1 of our Big Adventure

We got away at noon and the weather was spectacular. The mountains were incredible! This was Mount Arrowsmith from the highway.

We are finally and mostly packed for our trip to the sunny south. Look forward to the trip down, seeing our friends and investigating and experiencing new things. Will have pics and more information as we start on our 'big adventure'.
